Post Harvest Specialist

Job Summary The Post-Harvest Specialist is a full-time non‑exempt position responsible for overseeing and executing post‑harvest operations including cannabis buck down, curing, sorting, trimming, and related processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, compliance with state regulations, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Execute post‑harvest tasks including buck down, curing, sorting, and trimming Maintain product quality and consistency during handling Follow all SOPs and safety guidelines Accurately complete required documentation and tracking Assist team members and leads with daily tasks Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work environment Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Must pass a background check in compliance with state regulations Must have reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications None specified. Physical and Mental Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position, move and/or position oneself, communicate, operate and/or prepare, place, position objects, tools, or controls. The employee must occasionally move packages weighing up to 50 lb. The employee must be able to stand for 90% of the time. The employee is comfortable with heights, occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service lights, filters, trellis netting and ceiling fans up to 25 ft. The employee is comfortable working atop and traversing scaffolding when required. The employee is comfortable with changing environmental temperatures and humidity. Exposure to pollen, dust, dander, and other natural elements is expected. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close observation and the ability to adjust focus. Working Environment Work is performed in a warehouse environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and the risk of electrical shock.
