Ready Mix Driver

Responsible for the delivery of products to include accountability for shipments of products at the receipt of inventory, operating a safe work environment, tracking maintenance of vehicles, and various other duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Transport and deliver ready-mix concrete Maintain communication with dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions. Inspect and maintain the ready-mix truck regularly Always adhere to safety procedures and rules during transit and on construction sites Manage customer concerns and requests professionally Document and log work. (daily DVIR) Ensure all mandatory paperwork is completed in a timely manner Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Must have good communication skills Maintain required commercial driving license (Class A, Class B driver license) Pass DOT background check Maintain knowledge of and follow DOT rules and regulations, terminal policy and procedures, and any other regulations as required. Ability to handle physical workload Physical Demands and Work Environment Will be exposed to plant production development, indoors and outdoors Exposed to elements cold, heat and humidity Regularly required walking, twisting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, bending and moving about the yard/facility. Must be able to lift 50lbs May handle potentially hazardous equipment and materials Occasional testing of equipment Work well alone and with others Must exhibit flexibility, good attitude and dependability #J-18808-Ljbffr
