Welder

Job Summary We are looking for a skilled welder with 3–5 years of experience in metal fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of welding processes, shop drawings, and safety practices. This role involves performing high-quality welds on various materials including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding as required Fabricate, assemble, and weld metal components according to specifications Set up and operate welding equipment and fabrication machinery Inspect completed welds and structures to ensure quality and compliance Work independently and as part of a team to meet production deadlines Follow all company safety guidelines and OSHA regulations Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications 3–5 years of hands‑on welding experience in a fabrication environment Proficient in MIG and TIG welding (Stick welding is a plus) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols Strong knowledge of metal types, thicknesses, and behavior under heat Familiarity with grinders, torches, plasma cutters, and other tools Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship AWS Certification preferred but not required High school diploma or GED required, trade school or vocational training a plus Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50+ lbs. regularly Stand, bend, kneel, and work in various positions throughout the shift Comfortable working in a shop environment with exposure to heat, sparks, and metal particles Benefits 401(k) / Matching Employee Assistance Program Health Savings Account Life Insurance PTO Join our team as a Welder where your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards of product quality!
