Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)The Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a paraprofessional member of the home care team who provides personal care services to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or therapist.In this role, you will support patients with daily activities, monitor their condition, and communicate observations to the clinical team to ensure safe, high-quality care.Positions are available in the Winthrop, East Boston, Chelsea, Revere, and Everett areas. This is a part-time position with a schedule of Monday to Friday. The hourly rate is $25.00.Responsibilities include:Providing personal care assistance such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility supportObserving and reporting changes in patients' condition to the supervising nurse or therapistDocumenting care provided and patient observations accuratelyFollowing the care plan established by the Registered NurseMaintaining a safe and supportive environment for patients in their homesPromoting quality, continuity, and safety of patient careQualifications include:Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Massachusetts preferred; Home Health Aide certification acceptedMust be 18 years of age or olderAbility to read and follow written care plans and document services providedAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionCompassion and empathy for individuals who are ill, injured, or elderlyCurrent CPR certification requiredStrong interpersonal skills, patience, and professionalismValid driver's license and reliable insured vehicleAbility to assist patients with repositioning, transferring, and other physical tasks.Pathways Healthcare is committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and fostering a positive work environment for our team members.
