The Dental Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting dental professionals by preparing patients, managing sterilization, maintaining accurate records, and assisting during dental procedures. Working within a small-sized team of four to five assistants, this position operates during standard daytime hours and offers opportunities for professional growth through certification advancement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for dental procedures
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments
• Maintain and update patient charts and records
• Assist the dentist during treatments and procedures
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments

 

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in dental assisting
• Dental Assistant certification or diploma
• Dental Radiology Certification
• Infection Control Certification
• Proficient in dental radiography and sterilization techniques
• Strong patient care skills, especially working with children and special-needs patients
• Attention to detail
