Quality Assurance Technician

Dura-Line is hiring for a Quality Assurance Technician in West Valley City, UT.

Schedule: Swing Shift - 3:00PM-11:15PM, Mon-Fri

Sign-On Bonus Offered: $500 after 90 days, $1,000 after 180 days totaling $1,500.00

Our ideal candidate will be able to efficiently monitor the integrity and quality of products without impeding production rates. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and the ability to focus for long periods of time. You will be required to perform daily line audits to proactively help correct defects and look for root cause corrective actions, inspect and test manufactured goods and determine if they are safe to use and meet or exceed acceptable tolerances. You will need to feel comfortable communicating with team members and support the team to ensure continuous production at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials. You will need to have a strong desire for personal advancement and the willingness to achieve by learning our manufacturing systems and reporting as scheduled with an upbeat team player mindset as well as be team-oriented, goal driven and motivated!

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with production teams to identify and implement continuous improvements.
• Monitor product quality efficiently throughout the manufacturing process.
• Support strong performance and consistent quality standards.
• Train production employees on the quality system, procedures, and work instructions.
• Inspect products during manufacturing to ensure compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
• Issue SAP Quality Notifications as needed and maintain accurate quality documentation.
• Manage calibration schedules and support quality leadership with daily operational needs.
• Test incoming raw materials and finished goods, maintain records, and operate diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct internal audits to support TL9000 and ISO setup and compliance.
• Perform regular Quality Assurance Technician duties as required.

Requirements:

• Basic math/measurement & reading comprehension skills
• High school education preferred; advanced studies desired.
• 2+ years of quality control, quality assurance, or inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• MS Office and data entry skills required; SAP, ERP, or QMS experience desirable.
• Ability to work around obstacles and lift truck traffic, wear required PPE, and stand or walk for 8 hours.
• Ability to inspect products, collect data, and work in weather and noise conditions.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.

Our Offer:

The compensation for this position is typically start at $24/Hour.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
