Are you a passionate and skilled cook who loves creating delicious, high-quality meals? We're looking for a dedicated Dietary Cook to join our team at Complete Care Age Maple Grove . If you're a positive and energetic individual with a creative flair for food, we want to hear from you. 

Responsibilities of a Dietary Cook  

As a Dietary Cook, you'll be a vital part of our team, ensuring our residents receive nutritious and appealing meals that meet their dietary needs and preferences. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Performs food preparation and cooking while maintaining all quality standards. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals, adhering to recipes, and ensuring every dish meets our high standards for taste, nutrition, and presentation. 

• Operates cooking equipment following established procedures and safety precautions. You'll use a range of kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring a clean and secure working environment. 

• Manage meal service, including plating and serving food according to residents' dietary restrictions and preferences. 

• Adhere to all sanitation and food safety regulations, including temperature checks and proper food storage. 

• Assist in menu planning and inventory management, ensuring a consistent supply of fresh ingredients. 

• Collaborate with the dietary team to create a positive and efficient kitchen environment. 

Qualifications of a Dietary Cook  

To be a successful Dietary Cook, you should possess: 

• High School Diploma or equivalent.  

• Have SafeServ Certification

• A positive and energetic individual with creativity. Your enthusiasm will make a difference in our kitchen and the lives of our residents. 

• Ability to work independently or as part of a group. You should be able to manage your tasks efficiently while collaborating with the rest of the dietary staff.  

• Available to work weekends. Our residents need great meals every day, so weekend availability is a must. 

• Knowledge of therapeutic diets (e.g., low-sodium, diabetic, pureed) is preferred.
