Help

• You will assign work to be accomplished by subordinates and set and adjust short and long-term goals and priorities.
• You will direct, develop and perform logistics management operations that involve planning, coordinating, and evaluating logistical actions that support the domain training mission, equipment training platforms, and designated programs.
• You will ensure effective integration of contracting requirements with logistics, facilities, property, and training support needs.
• You will oversee property accountability, excess materiel disposition, waste/recycling, and warehouse operations; interpret and promulgate accountable property policy updates.

• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Identifying and defining resource requirements for the purposes of developing procurement requests in compliance with federal guidelines; 2) Adhering to credit card procedures and protocols, and navigating and interpreting reports to support the Purchase Card program; 3) Communicating and collaborating, orally and in writing, to interact with military and civilian personnel at all levels; and 4) Reviewing and prioritizing areas of high risk to develop primary and alternate mitigating courses-of-action.
