Schedule: 13-week contract; every other weekend required; nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5-6; 12-hour orientation provided

Highlights:

• Work in a specialized 26-bed Acute Care for the Elderly (ACE) unit providing telemetry-capable care for patients aged 65 and older
• Join a multidisciplinary team focused on preserving cognitive and physical function to help geriatric patients return to their pre-admission baseline
• Level I Adult and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center experience in a 641-bed regional teaching medical center
• EPIC charting system with 1 year of EPIC experience required
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more
• First-time travelers welcome; pre-assignment module completion reimbursable up to 16 hours

Requirements:

• Active South Carolina or multistate compact RN license (pending licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency in IV starts, blood product administration, and central/peripheral/PICC line management
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, remote telemetry monitoring, and heparin protocols
• Strong geriatric-focused care competencies
• Must meet distance requirements for travel positions
