Graphic Designer (Licensed Consumer Products & Packaging)

Our client, a fast-growing leader in the licensed consumer products space, is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join their creative team. This is an exciting opportunity to help bring globally recognized entertainment, automotive, and lifestyle brands to life through innovative packaging, product graphics, marketing materials, and digital content.

Portfolio submission is required and should showcase packaging design experience in the toy, entertainment, collectibles, or licensed consumer products space.

PAY: $40-60/hr (OE)

LOCATION: Glendale, CA

DURAITON: Temp - potential to convert to full-time

What You'll Do

• Design packaging, product graphics, retail displays, marketing collateral, advertisements, and digital assets
• Create visually compelling designs that align with established brand standards and licensing requirements
• Collaborate closely with Product Development, Marketing, Sales, and Creative teams to execute product launches and campaigns
• Participate in concept development, brainstorming, and creative ideation for new products and promotions
• Prepare production-ready artwork and print files while ensuring technical accuracy and manufacturing requirements are met
• Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and external licensing partners throughout the approval process
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Research design trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products to help inform creative direction

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field
• 2–4 years of professional graphic design experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing packaging, branding, product graphics, and digital design work
• Experience working with licensed brands, entertainment properties, consumer products, toys, gaming, collectibles, or related industries is highly preferred
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Strong understanding of print production, packaging design, color management, and file preparation
• Exceptional attention to detail, typography, layout, and visual composition
• Ability to interpret and execute within strict brand and style guidelines
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally

Nice to Have

• Experience designing products for children, toys, collectibles, or fan-focused merchandise
• Familiarity with entertainment, gaming, automotive, or action-oriented brands
• Knowledge of social media and digital marketing creative development
• Exposure to 3D design tools such as Blender, Maya, or similar platforms
