Schedule: 12-hour day shifts Hours: 36 hours per week Contract Length: 13 weeks Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 - $1,890 Unit Setting: Inpatient overflow unit with mixed medical-surgical and step-down patients Patient Ratios: 1:5 to 1:6 depending on level of care Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Floating: May be required to float to other units as needed EMR: Cerner Job Requirements Active RN license and eligibility to work as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina At least 1 year of progressive care nursing or telemetry RN experience preferred Telemetry competency required Progressive care experience required BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong teamwork, compassion, and a patient-first mindset Ability to adapt quickly in a high-turnover, fast-paced hospital environment Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to telemetry and progressive care patients Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support patient care Deliver compassionate care while maintaining efficiency in a quick-turnover inpatient unit Document patient assessments, treatments, and care plans accurately in the EMR Support patient throughput by caring for short-stay and overflow patients Float to other units when needed based on staffing requirements Apply now for this Travel RN opportunity in Asheville, North Carolina, and join a team dedicated to quality patient care.
