NICU RN - Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00), with the option to flex to a 4th shift if needed. Must work a minimum of every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated NICU RN to join our team, focusing on delivering high-quality care to neonates and infants in a Level III and/or Level IV NICU setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates and infants.
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize advanced equipment and technology to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate families regarding care protocols and patient progress.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of NICU nursing experience is required.
• Current NC State or Compact Licensure required.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE are mandatory.
• Experience with Meditech EMR is preferred.
