Laryngologist - Program Leadership
University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson
Position Highlights :
- Career Leadership & Growth:
- Lead the and grow the Laryngology program and direct the UMMC Voice & Swallowing Center
- Departmental support for master's degree training if desired

- Rich and diverse practice, including spectrum of lesions, airway reconstruction, vocal cord mobility disorders, and voice care
- Tertiary referral center and the only comprehensive team of ENT subspecialists in the state
- Physician-led institution ensuring patient care and physician perspectives remain central to the institution's mission
- Culture & Support:
- Laryngology-focused APP in clinic and a full complement of speech and language pathologists
- Favorable Call Schedule:
- Light general ENT call from home with resident coverage
- Also hiring Head & Neck Oncologic Surgeon and Rhinologist/Skull Base Surgeon faculty
Compensation & Benefits :
- Financial Package: $450K-$525K potential with a 2-year guarantee and RVU-based bonus plan
- Relocation Assistance: $25k supplement
- Professional Development: $13K annual CME
- Lucrative Retirement Benefits: 1:1 retirement match
- Scholarship & Tuition Benefits: 50% to 100% tuition waiver for faculty and dependents
Qualifications :
- Certifications: Must be BE/BC in Otolaryngology and Fellowship trained in Laryngology
- Licensure: MS license eligibility
- Required Experience: Must have airway surgery experience; TORS not required
- Experience: New grads and experienced surgeons are welcome to apply
