Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our production team. This role involves assembling small mechanical and electronic components, working with precision tools, and performing quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and capable of working with small parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Previous manufacturing or assembly experience

• Experience working with microscopes preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and subassemblies according to specifications and work instructions.

• Use hand tools and precision equipment to complete assembly tasks.

• Inspect assembled components for quality and accuracy.

• Work with small parts and delicate components under magnification when required.

• Maintain production standards and meet daily output goals.

• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality requirements.

• Keep workstations clean, organized, and audit-ready.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and teammates regarding production issues.

• Assist with troubleshooting minor assembly issues as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 1+ year of assembly, manufacturing, production, or related experience preferred.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.

• Excellent attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Schedule

1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Sunrise, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
