*Overview:*

We are seeking a highly motivated, Technical Project Engineer to join our dynamic team, in conveyor system manufacturing. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in the success of conveyor system projects by leveraging their technical expertise, industry knowledge, and exceptional communication skills to understand client needs to ensure project success at our customers.

*Responsibilities:*

* Take ownership of projects from point of sale through delivery and post-delivery support
* Manage all aspects of project including conveyor layouts, component and track BOMs/partslists, project related purchasing, project timelines, customer communications, shipping, service coordination, documentation, etc.
* Collaborate closely with the engineering and drafting teams to finalize solutions and prepare for production
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and identifying opportunities for upselling additional products or services
* Act as a subject matter expert during project meetings, providing in-depth product knowledge, technical advice, and recommendations to clients
* Maintaining consistent contact with customers and supporting their needs throughout each project
* Other tasks as required

*Requirements:*

* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
* Previous proven experience working directly with the customer is preferred
* Proven experience in strategic project planning
* Ability to work in a team environment
* Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of project management
* Proven experience in mechanical engineering
* Technical appreciation and understanding of mechanical systems
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Experience with mechatronic systems preferred
* Must be able to work from our facility in Hebron, KY (relocation not provided)
