Oncology - Radiation Physician

Facility in Bloomington, IL seeking RadOnc locums coverage Rates: $375/hr Opportunity Highlights

• Start Date: July 20, 2026.
• Schedule: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM (No call responsibilities).
• Location: Bloomington, Illinois.
• EMR: EPIC.
• Credentialing: 60-day timeframe; Full and Temporary privileges available.

Confirmed 2026 Coverage Dates

• July: 20th 24th
• October: Any one week (provider choice/alignment)
• November: 9th 13th AND one additional week (must not be consecutive with the 9th 13th)

Clinical Scope & Typical Day The physician must be on-site daily to provide clinical oversight of the treatment vault and patient assessments.

• On-Treatment Visits (OTVs): Conducted every Wednesday to assess patient tolerance and progress.
• Clinical Oversight: Be on-site during all clinic hours to ensure patient treatments proceed safely and without interruption.
• Collaboration: Work closely with radiation therapists, oncology nurses, and dosimetrists.
• Patient Mix: 50% Adult / 50% Pediatric (as per facility profile).

Provider Requirements

• Board Status: Board Certified in Radiation Oncology (Required).
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of post-residency experience.
• Licensure: Active Illinois (IL) State License and IL CSR in hand (Required). IMLC is not accepted for this role.
• Certifications: Active ACLS and BLS (Required).
• DEA: Required.
