Job Opportunity – Endoscopy Registered Nurse – Ohio

Location: Akron, Ohio

Schedule: Day shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM); shift times may vary and will be discussed during interview. No routine weekend shifts. On-call: 1-2 weekday call shifts per week (after shift until 7:00 AM) and 1-2 weekend call shifts per 6-week period (24-hour Saturday and Sunday coverage). One-hour response time required for call.

• Work in a dedicated endoscopy unit with no routine weekend shifts
• Manageable on-call schedule with weekday and periodic weekend coverage
• Day shift flexibility with start times discussed during the interview process
• Opportunity for contract extension up to 18 months
• Comprehensive orientation with pre-start modules and specialty-specific training
• Professional development support with annual competency requirements

• Current Ohio RN License or Compact State RN License (must be active at time of application)
• Minimum 18 months of permanent endoscopy experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications (must be active and in hand at time of submission)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation
• Professional reference from a manager, supervisor, or director in endoscopy from the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Background check clearance (no open cases)
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting required within 48 hours of contract signing
