Scotland Health Care System is looking for a Respiratory Therapist for part-time positions. The ideal candidate will work various shifts in the United States of America. Required competencies include: completed competency evaluations for each of the duties of the job, and BLS (Basic Life Support for healthcare providers) from AHA.

Job responsibilities include:

• Demonstrates knowledge of principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status.
• Interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements and ensures and documents that age specific needs are being met as described in the department policies and procedures. Provides and assesses effectiveness of patient and family education.
• Oxygen Supply Systems
• Equipment Processing
• Manual Resuscitation
• Oxygen Administration
• Humidity and Aerosol Therapy
• Small Volume Nebulizer Therapy
• MDI Administration
• Incentive Spirometry
• Non-invasive Mechanical Airway Clearance therapy
• Chest Physiotherapy with suctioning
• Arterial Puncture
• Electrocardiogram
• Patient Reporting
