Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented E-commerce Product Content Specialist to help build, organize, and maintain product information for our growing e-commerce website.

This position will work directly with manufacturers and vendors to collect product information, images, specifications, pricing, and other digital assets. You will then organize this information into standardized product templates for upload to our website.

This is an ideal position for someone who enjoys working with product data, spreadsheets, e-commerce systems, and large product catalogs. This is not primarily a social media or creative marketing position. Accuracy, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage large amounts of product information are critical.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with manufacturers and vendors to obtain complete product information and digital assets
• Collect and organize product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, SKUs, pricing, images, brochures, warranty information, and other product data
• Enter and format product information into standardized Excel/CSV product templates
• Prepare product data for bulk upload to our e-commerce website
• Create clear and consistent product titles, descriptions, features, specifications, and category information
• Review manufacturer websites, catalogs, price lists, and specification sheets to obtain missing information
• Organize and manage product images, PDFs, spec sheets, and other digital assets
• Ensure product information is accurate, complete, and consistent across the website
• Manage product options and variations such as sizes, colors, finishes, fabrics, frames, and accessories
• Identify missing or conflicting product information and work with manufacturers to resolve discrepancies
• Assist with categorizing and merchandising products within the website
• Maintain existing products as manufacturers update pricing, specifications, images, or discontinue products
• Help develop processes that make adding large numbers of new products faster and more efficient
• Work closely with sales, purchasing, marketing, and e-commerce teams

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with e-commerce product content, product data, catalog management, PIM, merchandising, or a related role preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Comfortable working with CSV files, spreadsheets, large data sets, and bulk product uploads
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with manufacturers and vendors
• Comfortable researching products and interpreting manufacturer specification sheets and catalogs
• Ability to manage multiple manufacturers and product projects simultaneously
• Strong written communication skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

Experience working with large product catalogs containing hundreds or thousands of SKUs is especially valuable.
