We care for you. Position Overview: Join our team as a Care Coordinator who contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service. Performs a range of administrative and customer service tasks, providing valuable support to the hospital. Within the veterinary field, this position aligns closely with roles often titled Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or Client Care Specialist. Mt. Yonah Animal Hospital in Cleveland, Georgia, is a trusted, full-service veterinary practice providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care. Known for its welcoming environment and dedicated team, the clinic delivers personalized care tailored to each pet’s needs. Key Responsibilities Greet clients and patients warmly and professionally. Answer multi-line phones and respond to inquiries courteously. Schedule appointments efficiently and accurately. Check clients in and out while maintaining accurate records. Communicate hospital policies, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions clearly. Maintain accurate electronic medical records. Process payments and balance cash drawer daily. Handle prescription refill requests and client communications. Coordinate with doctors and technicians to ensure smooth appointment flow. Maintain a clean and organized reception and lobby area. Qualifications Previous veterinary or medical front desk experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer proficiency (veterinary software experience a plus). Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally. Comfort working in an environment with animals of all sizes and temperaments.
