Tableau Analyst - 256440

We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau Analyst (Tableau Super-User) who combines strong technical expertise with operational business knowledge to support enterprise reporting initiatives. This role will serve as the bridge between business operations and IT, ensuring reporting solutions meet organizational needs while improving efficiency and reducing the burden on core IT resources. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards, understanding business reporting requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights. Key Responsibilities Streamline operational and departmental reporting by reviewing, updating, and optimizing existing Tableau dashboards. Identify and sunset obsolete reports while consolidating and modernizing reporting assets. Transition live reports currently maintained in SSRS into Tableau to standardize reporting across the organization. Review, update, maintain, and build new Tableau dashboards from a large portfolio of hundreds of legacy reports. Partner with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable Tableau solutions. Act as the liaison between operational teams and IT, ensuring technical solutions align with business needs. Assist the Training department with end-user education, report adoption, and reporting best practices. Gather business requirements for potential new application development and enhancements. Ensure data accuracy, report performance, and dashboard usability. Document reporting processes, dashboard functionality, and reporting standards. Required Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and supporting Tableau dashboards and reports. Strong knowledge of Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and dashboard optimization techniques. Experience reviewing, updating, and modernizing legacy reporting environments. Experience migrating or converting reports from SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) to Tableau. Ability to bridge business operations and technical IT teams by translating business requirements into reporting solutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
