Marketing Coordinator

Position: Marketing Coordinator Reports to: Vice President of Sales and Marketing Salary:
GSS designs, manufactures, markets, and supports gyro-stabilized camera and other system platforms worldwide. We develop leading-edge stabilized camera systems, including customizable stabilization technologies and solutions, to meet the world’s demand for innovative products across broadcast, cinema, utility inspection, law enforcement, and defense markets. Job Description The position of Marketing Coordinator at Gyro-Stabilized Systems will coordinate and assist with all marketing activities of GSS, which include trade shows, product demonstrations, website updates, social media, newsletters, public relations, advertising, literature, and media library. Working directly with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing and AI-assisted marketing strategy, you’ll execute on marketing briefs and content calendars across four distinct markets. This is a growth role. You’ll start as a hands-on coordinator and develop into a marketing manager over 18–24 months as you build strategic thinking alongside leadership and AI Tools. Key Responsibilities • Social media management across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube (5X per week minimum) — planning, editing, creating, and content gathering • Website updates bi-monthly and as needed • Monthly newsletter creation and distribution • Digital asset organization and optimization — maintaining a clean library and archiving outdated materials • Gather and manage customer testimonials and case study materials • Print material and spec sheet management • Support tradeshow coordination, product demonstrations, and event documentation • Assist with public relations and advertising execution • Work with leadership and AI Tools to synthesize strategic briefs into marketing content and assets Required Skills & Qualifications • Skilled in Microsoft Office and basic Adobe Suite (or Canva equivalent) • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written • Extraordinary attention to detail, organization, and process-oriented approach 400 Crown Point Circle Grass Valley, CA 95945 View phone number on us.fitly.work • Self-motivated problem-solving attitude • Comfortable with AI tools and eager to learn how to use them strategically • Ability to take direction, ask clarifying questions, and execute independently Desired Qualifications • 0–2 years of marketing, communications, or social media experience • Associate’s degree in marketing or related field • Interest in aerospace, defense, or technical B2B marketing • Basic gimbal or camera equipment knowledge (or willingness to learn) • Familiarity with Google Ads, analytics, or content management systems What Makes This Different GSS is building an AI-augmented marketing function.
