Responsibilities

What You Will Do

• Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex, intermittent faults across cross-disciplinary systems, including robotics, pneumatics, electronics, PLCs, and mechanical assemblies.

• Data-Driven Preventive Maintenance: Go beyond basic PM schedules. Analyze downtime logs and CMMS data to identify recurring failures, adjust PM frequencies, and implement continuous improvements (e.g., upgrading seals, optimizing lubrication).

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with mechanical, controls, optics, and software engineers to review schematics, provide detailed fault logs, and co-develop hardware/cooling modifications to eliminate chronic equipment issues.

• Safety Leadership: Strictly enforce and execute Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, verify zero-energy states, review MSDS sheets, and collaborate with EHS and Facilities to design out safety hazards (e.g., chemical vent lines, gas-handling configurations).

• Startup Scale-Up: Assist in commissioning new equipment, standardizing spare-parts inventories, and creating quick-reference PM sheets for a rapidly expanding toolset.
