Emergency Medicine

Seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to provide PRN 24-hour in-house Emergency Department coverage at a community hospital.

Compensation: $290/hr

Schedule

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Contract Length: 13 weeks

PRN coverage

24-hour in-house shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

Emergency Department

In-house coverage

Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat emergency patients of all ages

Manage acute medical emergencies

Coordinate care with hospital staff and consultants

Provide emergency stabilization and treatment

Document patient care in Epic

Practice Details

25–30 patients per day

All ages

10-bed Emergency Department

10-bed inpatient unit

CT and diagnostic imaging available

Support from physicians, APPs, nurses, and technicians

EMR: Epic

Requirements

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine

Active Pennsylvania license

DEA

Minimum of 1 year of experience

ABEM is preferred but not required

Additional Information

Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days

Temporary privileges available for providers with a clean file

Flights are not reimbursable

Travel reimbursement available for other approved expenses per facility guidelines.
