As a Security Officer Patrol in Peoria IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support employees and visitors with strong communication and customer a caring culture built on teamwork integrity reliability agility and innovation you will play a valued role in daily site operations.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures access activities and emergency response support at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas warehouses parking areas and the perimeter to help identify concerns and report security-related issues.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor information and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Observe workplace conditions and equipment areas for hazards maintenance concerns and/or policy violations then report findings through appropriate site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
