IMC is currently hiringa Environmental Services Worker (Housekeeping), from 7:00am - 3:30pm , who performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner, buffs floors as needed, and performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Environmental Services Department.

EDUCATION:

Must be able to read and write.

EXPERIENCE:

No previous experience needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performsall assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highestintegrity of the Environmental Services Department.
Performsroutine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, and clinical areas,waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators and stairwaysin a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
Completeswork assignments in a timely manner.
Utilizesthe appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
Usesand maintains equipment properly.
Assistsvisitors with directions whenever requested.
Alwaysintroduces self to patients, families and visitors.
Reportssafety hazards as appropriate.
Transportstrash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal area.
Replenishessupplies.
Followsall infection prevention and control practices, including Standard Precautions,Transmission-Based Precautions and hand hygiene.
Maintainsset quality standards when performing job duties.

SCHEDULES:

Fulltime
Must be able to work weekends
7:00am - 3:30pm shift
