Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant at BHC supports accounting operations across all entities and departments by preparing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and supporting the monthly close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare routine journal entries in Sage IntacctPerform balance sheet reconciliations in BlacklineAssist with monthly close activitiesComplete P&L review within reporting toolSupport budget preparation in partnership with FinanceMaintain organized supporting documentationCollaborate with operational leaders to provide accurate financial dataREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:1–2 years of accounting experienceAccounting degree preferredExperience with Sage Intacct and Blackline preferredStrong Excel skills requiredUnderstanding of basic accounting principlesPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a colleague to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:Ability to work at a computer for extended periodsOccasionally lift up to 15 poundsCommunicate clearly in written and verbal formatsReasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions._______________________________________________________________________________BHC is an equal employment opportunity employer.
