Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. Responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practices set by a nationally recognized specialty organization. Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Requirements Registered Nurse license. Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor’s or higher in Nursing; BSN or higher preferred. BLS certification. ACLS certification with the American Heart Association. PALS certification with the American Heart Association preferred. Required experience: one year acute care experience, or one year interventional/procedural experience, or six months RN acute care or interventional/procedural experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of two years RN experience. Minimum of one year acute care RN experience in Endoscopy, PACU or Critical Care. Endoscopy experience strongly preferred.
