Cardiovascular Disease Specialist - Phoenix, AZ

Merck seeks a Cardiovascular Disease Specialist for its Phoenix territory to build customer relationships and drive sales of cardiovascular products. The role combines field-based engagement with cardiologists and healthcare providers, territory management, and product knowledge maintenance. Travel approximately 25% overnight required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory-level business plans aligned with company policies and ethical standards
• Conduct compliant product sales discussions with cardiologists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain current product knowledge and required certifications for company portfolio
• Provide regular updates to management on customer needs, marketplace dynamics, and progress toward quality goals
• Monitor business performance against objectives using company tools and analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or high school diploma with 0–3 years relevant work experience (S1 level) or 3+ years sales experience (S2 level)
• Valid driver's license; reside within territory radius or willing to relocate at own expense
• Strong data analysis and strategic planning capabilities
• Proficient with digital tools and CRM platforms for healthcare professional engagement
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships and address diverse healthcare needs
• Excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal, and communication skills
