Pharmacist - Ekron, KY

A small hospital is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to manage medication dispensing and ensure safe and effective pharmaceutical care. This contract position is ideal for a healthcare professional with a strong background in pharmacy services and the ability to work effectively in a hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in compliance with hospital protocols
- Review and verify prescriptions to ensure proper dosages and identify potential drug interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and pharmacy inventory
- Provide patient counseling and education on medication usage and safety
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and hospital policies regarding pharmacy operations
- Licensed Pharmacist with a current and valid pharmacy license
- Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of prescription medications, pharmacology, and drug interactions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and teamwork
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
