Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis
• Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
• Ensure high quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered consistently
• Support competency evaluation and development of clinical staff
• Manage resources appropriately as they relate to patient care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Emergency Room clinical experience
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
• Ability to work day shift in an onsite, fast-paced emergency department environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-acuity or trauma-level emergency department
• Familiarity with delegating and overseeing care across multidisciplinary clinical staff
