Hulme Orthodontics is seeking a motivated, positive, and friendly Experienced Orthodontic Assistant to join our dedicated team. This full-time role offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a professional and supportive environment that feels like family. We value growth and will support your path to obtaining your Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification within 6 to 12 months.
Located in Santa Cruz, CA, Hulme Orthodontics prides itself on building lasting relationships through excellent orthodontic treatment and exceptional patient experiences. Requirements
- Certified Orthodontic Assistant
- Experienced Dental Assistant (3+ years)
- Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
- X-ray / Radiography Certification
Dental Assistant (DA) certification and dental X-ray certification
Willingness to obtain Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification within 6-12 months
Experience in orthodontics or dental assisting with mid-level patient care skills
Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, upbeat attitude
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Job Description
Provide direct patient care with a focus on orthodontic procedures
Assist orthodontists chairside utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques
Perform dental radiographs with proper X-ray certification
Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories following infection control protocols
Manage patient interactions and support patient treatment plans
Maintain accurate records and support administrative tasks as needed
Collaborate closely with the team to ensure a smooth workflow and positive environment
