Contract | 5×8-hour evening shifts, 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM | On-call required (approximately 6 weekday call shifts and 2 weekend call rotations) | Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required | Block scheduling cannot be accommodated

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties including General Surgery, Neuro, Orthopedic, Vascular, and Transplant procedures
• Support high-acuity and trauma surgical cases in a Level I trauma environment
• Assist with procedures such as craniotomy, spinal fusion, total joint replacements, vascular bypass, transplant, and complex abdominal surgeries
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner electronic health records
• Float within scope to other like units based on facility needs
• Participate in on-call rotations including weekday and weekend call shifts as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• Valid Pennsylvania RN license required at time of submission
• Experience across General Surgery, Neuro, Orthopedic, Vascular, and Transplant surgical services required
• Total joint, spinal, and high-acuity surgical case experience required
• PA Fingerprints (Childline) required; must be completed within 1 week of contract signing
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are welcome to apply; a local rate differential applies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with laparoscopic procedures, Whipple procedures, and complex abdominal cases
• Familiarity with carotid, AV fistula, femoral-popliteal bypass, and abdominal aortic aneurysm vascular procedures
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric surgical patient populations
• Prior experience in a large, multi-room OR environment
