Job Overview You will support patients, providers, and clinical teams while managing patient registration, insurance verification, appointment coordination, and communication with both patients and staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities Ensure all patients are greeted in a friendly and professional manner. Register patients promptly, capturing accurate demographic and insurance information in NextGen practice‑management system. Verify patient insurance and secure necessary referrals or authorizations before the appointment. Notify managers of coverage issues and determine payment responsibilities. Confirm that residents and staff have signed charts before entering any charges. Create appropriate appointments for patients by reviewing physicians’ instructions. Seek clarification from a physician or manager when needed. Communicate with patients about expected wait times and keep them updated. Coordinate with technicians to meet patient needs.
