Schedule: 2nd Shift | 2 PM - 10:30 PM | Monday - Friday

Job Duties

• Train production employees on equipment cleaning, sanitation procedures, PPE, and chemical safety.
• Lead sanitation activities, shift huddles, and cleaning task coordination .
• Support and audit CIP processes, sanitation records, and documentation.
• Inspect equipment and production areas to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
• Perform sanitation audits, chemical testing, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Maintain sanitation supplies, cleaning tools, and housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
• Partner with production, quality, and leadership teams to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient operation.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Additional training in food safety, sanitation, or manufacturing is a plus.

Experience Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in sanitation.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SQF, allergen control, and contamination prevention.
• Experience with CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems, sanitation procedures, and chemical handling.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and training skills.
• Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math calculations.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 12 hours per shift.
• Frequently bend, kneel, reach, stretch, and climb ladders as needed.
• Regularly lift and carry 25-50 lbs.
• Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals, food allergens, and wet or slippery surfaces.

What You Will Do


As a Sanitation Specialist you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
