PURPOSE This position is responsible for advising students in the MBA and MAcc programs in the College of Business and serves as the point of contact for all prospective and current students. DESCRIPTION Functional Area 1: Operations Percent Effort: 50% Serve as advisor for currently enrolled graduate students and assist with course selection. Assist prospective students with the application process. Review and clear currently enrolled graduate students for graduation. Functional Area 2: Administrative Percent Effort: 30% Assist with graduate student orientation. Assist with graduate student functions (receptions, open houses, etc.). Assist with preparation of graduate course schedule. Functional Area 3: Support and Other Percent Effort: 20% Represent department on committees and at meetings. Cross train with Assistant Manager to ensure operations are covered. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in a business‑related field Two (2) years of related experience Additional experience/education may be used as a substitute for the minimum education/experience requirement: A ssociate's degree and four (4) years of experience Master's degree Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS MBA or Master of Accountancy Knowledge of business graduate programs admissions and curriculum Experience with Banner, Argos, DegreeWorks, Laserfiche SALARY: Approx. $3,657.34 Monthly (Approx. $43,888.08 annually) NOTE: Employment may be impacted by the Presidential proclamation issued on September 19, 2025 and the moratorium issued by Texas Governor Abbott on January 27, 2026.
