BIDMC Operating Room Nurse – Sign on Bonus! Boston, MA Job Description Operating Room Nurse (RN) – Perioperative Services – Surgical Nurse. Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is seeking dedicated and skilled Operating Room Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our nationally recognized Perioperative Services team. Qualifications Active RN licensure in Massachusetts Graduate of an approved school of nursing Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN Completed Periop 101 program American Heart Association BLS BSN (preferred) 2 years OR experience (preferred) Responsibilities You will be part of a dynamic, highly specialized team covering diverse surgical cases across our campuses in Boston. Our department’s mission is to provide advanced surgical care of the highest quality, improve health through innovation and discovery, and prepare future leaders in American surgery. Staff work 8, 10, or 12‑hour shifts Participate in an on‑call rotation covering off‑shifts, weekends, and holidays Operating Rooms & Specialties Nearly 30,000 operative procedures are conducted at BIDMC every year. BIDMC is ranked #1 in the U.S. for Heart Transplant, #3 for Liver, and #1 in New England for Pancreas and Kidney–Pancreas. The hospital offers a Living Liver/Kidney Donor program, robot‑assisted living donor liver transplantation, and a range of surgical specialties including OP West, OP East, and CVI OR.
