Environmental Engineer

Responsibilities Create, carry out, and refine environmental compliance programs to align with federal, state, and local requirements Manage air, water, stormwater, natural resource permits, and spill prevention programs, including inspections and reporting Lead hazardous waste compliance activities including inspections, shipments, and program oversight Conduct environmental audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions aligned with ISO14001 Support construction projects and contractors to ensure environmental requirements are met Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field 1–3 years of experience coordinating environmental compliance programs Working knowledge of CWA, CAA, RCRA, CERCLA, and ISO14001 Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience leading small teams or cross‑functional projects Experience supporting regulatory inspections and external audits Background in both construction and operational environmental compliance Experience with New York State environmental permits and regulations EEO Statement Micron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
