Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide patient care in a Level 2 trauma center and interventional stroke-certified environment, including a Level 3 NICU. The successful candidate will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on adult respiratory therapy while also caring for pediatric intubated patients.

Responsibilities include managing non-invasive ventilation and conventional ventilation, administering aerosol therapy and performing bedside pulmonary function tests, conducting arterial blood gases, capillary blood gases, and drawing from lines, implementing oxygen management strategies, providing patient education, and performing necessary tasks in coordination with other healthcare professionals, including trauma care.

Qualifications include a minimum of 1 year of experience, certifications needed: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and GA RRT License, and experience in trauma care is required; proficiency in pulmonary function testing (Spirometry) is preferred.

This role will require working in a fast-paced healthcare setting with both adults and pediatric patients. The shift will be 3x12-hour nights, from 18:30 to 07:00. Must be flexible to float between facilities as needed.

Weekends: Required every other weekend unless specified otherwise. Holidays: Expected to work on major holidays as outlined in the role details. Compliance with all requirements is critical to ensure timely onboarding.
