JR & Co., Inc.'s value for employees, customers, and the community is what sets us apart in the roofing and construction industry.What would I be doing?Safely set up, maintain, and clean job sites in compliance with OSHA and company standardsMeasure, cut, and install roofing and sheet metal systems according to specifications and manufacturer requirementsPerform skilled installation work independently with minimal supervisionInstall roofing, flashing, trim, standing seam panels, wall and soffit panels, parapet coping, fascia, and related componentsRead and follow drawings, layouts, and job instructions to ensure quality workmanshipIdentify installation or material issues and communicate solutions to supervisionTroubleshoot and correct roofing and sheet metal installation deficienciesMaintain productivity, jobsite organization, and quality standards throughout the projectProperly manage tools, equipment, and materialsProactively model safe work practices and report safety concerns immediatelyCommunicate professionally with supervisors, team members, customers, and other tradesAssist and mentor less experienced crew members as neededAdhere to all company policies, jobsite rules, and standards of conductRepresent the company professionally and uphold company values at all timeWhat do I need?3+ years of hands-on experience in construction, roofing, and/or sheet metal work (journeyman-level preferred)Demonstrated ability to perform skilled tasks with limited supervisionOSHA 10-Hour certification (minimum) or ability to obtain promptlyStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and specificationsDependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented work ethicWhat is it like?Elevated work (work on rooftops, heights)Outdoors (in all types of weather)Overtime, weekends may be requiredFrequent bending, kneeling, walking, climbing, carrying and lifting (50lbs or greater)Notice of E-Verify Participation and Pre-Placement Drug ScreeningJR & Co., Inc. participates in E-Verify.
