The ideal candidate for the Occupational Therapist Assistant Position is a caring and compassionate individual that is dedicated to making a positive impact on their patients lives.
Responsibilities:Help patients learn or re-learn Basic ADLs and / or IADLs that are necessary for healthy and meaningful quality of life.
Teach functional mobility from different surfaces, such as a bed, chair, toilet and shower in order to perform self-care and personal tasks with less difficult
Provide Comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
Document patient's progress on a timely manner
Collaborate with all disciplines to provide best patient centered care
Report to work on time and adhere to AHCHA guidelines
Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation
Must have a valid professional COTA license for State of Florida
