Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized urological nursing care at a busy outpatient clinic within an academic medical center. Administer treatments, coordinate patient care, and support physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to urology patients in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures accurately according to physician orders.
• Document patient interactions and clinical information using the EPIC electronic health record system.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress, identify clinical issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Float within scope to support other units or facilities based on operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience in an outpatient or clinical setting.
• BLS certification required; ONS certification preferred.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records.
• Previous charge nurse or supervisory experience appreciated.
• Ability to work day shifts 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, with flexibility for holidays and floating.
