Warehouse Associate - Grapevine

Warehouse Associate

The Warehouse Associate keeps material moving receiving and staging inbound freight, accurately pulling and packaging customer orders, and delivering product to customer sites and shops across Houston. This is primarily a warehouse role, with some time needed for product pickup or delivery. A valid driver's license and willingness to run delivery routes are required.

The person in this role is often the only DX Electric employee a customer sees in person, so professionalism on the job site matters as much as accuracy in the warehouse.

What You'll Do

• Receive inbound shipments; verify quantities, part numbers, and condition against packing slips and purchase orders, and report discrepancies or damage same-day.
• Put away stock in correct bin locations and maintain accurate location data in the ERP system.
• Pick, package, and stage customer orders from pick tickets with a high degree of accuracy.
• Measure and cut wire and cable to specified footage using reel carts and cutting equipment; label and tag cut lengths correctly.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and reel handling equipment safely.
• Run delivery and pickup routes to customer and vendor warehouses; obtain signatures and proof of delivery and return signed paperwork.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections; report maintenance needs and safety issues promptly.
• Represent DX Electric professionally and follow all customer and job-site safety requirements, including required PPE and site check-in procedures.
