Registered Nurse (RN) Advocate Health Hospital at Home (Lutheran General Hospital) .9 Days

Position: Registered Nurse – Hospital at Home Location: Park Ridge, IL (Lutheran General Hospital) Employment Type: Full Time Hours: 36 hours per week; 12‑hour day shifts (9 a.m. – 9 p.m.), rotating weekends and holidays. Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30 per hour Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000, paid in two installments – 50 % at 90 days and 50 % at 1 year. What You’ll Do Deliver acute, hospital‑level care directly in patients’ homes. Perform skilled clinical tasks such as IV starts, phlebotomy, and medication administration. Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring escalation. Collaborate with a virtual and in‑person interdisciplinary team. Use evidence‑based practice to ensure safe, patient‑centered care. Coordinate discharge planning and ongoing care needs. Promote a culture of safety and high‑quality outcomes. What We’re Looking For Required Active RN license. BLS certification (AHA). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. 2+ years of recent acute inpatient or ED experience preferred. Skills Strong IV, phlebotomy, and clinical assessment skills. Ability to work independently in home settings. Excellent communication and critical thinking. Comfort with technology and remote monitoring tools. Work Environment Travel within designated service area (approximately 30 minutes of Lutheran General Hospital). Provide care in private home settings. Physical activity required (lifting, bending, standing, etc.). Exposure to clinical and environmental variables typical in‑home care. Compensation & Benefits Base compensation within the listed pay range, adjusted for qualifications, skills, and experience. Premium pay for shift, on‑call, and other additional responsibilities.
