About the Role:

Owl Cleaners in the North Hills of Pittsburgh is looking for an experienced and motivated Production Working Supervisor to lead our dry cleaning team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work side-by-side with your crew to deliver exceptional garment care and keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and actively participate when needed in daily dry cleaning production operations
• Inspect garments for stains, damage, and special care requirements before and after cleaning
• Operate dry cleaning machines, pressing equipment, and finishing tools when needed
• Train, coach, and support production staff to maintain quality and efficiency standards
• Supervise and Coach approximately 10-15 people 
• Monitor workflow and overdues to ensure orders are completed accurately and delivered to customers
• Enforce safety protocols and proper handling of cleaning solutions and chemicals
• Communicate with other store staff regarding customer orders and special requests
• Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) and interact with all departments.
• Perform other area functions as necessary to fulfill the objectives of the company.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage time, set priorities, document results and complete all company reporting requirements.
• Adhere to conduct standards consistent with those of the company that reflect professionalism, honesty, and integrity.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in dry cleaning, laundry, or garment care production PREFERRED
• Prior supervisory or team lead experience REQUIRED
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality REQUIRED
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical production environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team-oriented positive attitude REQUIRED
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and management REQUIRED
• Requires use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and scanners/copiers.
• Tasks require standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and climbing steps and or ladders.
• Tasks require the use of hands and arms, reaching and repetitive motion.
• Must be able to work extended hours and a flexible schedule on short notice in a 5 day operation.
• Must pass a drug screen, physical and functional capacity test as required by the company.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
