The Benefits We Offer:

• Pay:

  $110,000 plus, depending on experience.

• A Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule, with additional work as needed, based on business needs

WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?

As our Outside Sales Associate, you focus on aggressively identifying and acquiring new clients while expanding opportunities within the existing client base. You own the top of the sales funnel by proactively prospecting, securing meetings, and delivering compelling messages that showcase the company's value. Your consultative selling skills shine during discovery calls, and you maintain an active pipeline throughout the sales cycle. In addition to acquiring new clients, you strengthen partnerships with current clients by providing fresh insights and solutions that enhance engagement and retention. Collaborating with internal teams is essential for supporting clients and promoting long-term growth, while also representing the Johnstone Supply brand at trade events.

OUR IDEAL OUTSIDE SALES ASSOCIATE

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of direct sales experience
• Honest, loyal, and ethical
• Ability to work in a team
• Committed to achieving sales goals
• Ability to build long-term customer relationships
• Ability to maintain a professional, positive, courteous, and friendly
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
• Excellent negotiation and objection-countering skills
• Knowledge of principles and methods of selling products and services
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM software, email, and internet-based research
• Ability to manage coworker and customer interactions with tact and diplomacy
• Ability to travel frequently to customer locations
• A commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality on all corporate matters
• 3+ years of direct sales experience is preferred
• Direct sales experience in the business-to-business HVAC/R or similar industry is a plus
