PRN Occupational Therapist (OT)

Shenandoah Senior Living Community is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated and compassionate rehabilitation team. In this role, you will provide meaningful, resident-centered therapy services within a warm, supportive, skilled nursing environment. As an OT, you’ll help residents regain or maintain independence in their daily activities through thoughtful, client-centered care. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and treat residents to enhance engagement in meaningful daily activities

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on functional goals

• Teach techniques to support safety and independence in ADLs and IADLs

• Recommend adaptive equipment and train residents and caregivers on its use

• Assess living environments and provide recommendations for modifications

• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and family members for optimal outcomes

• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, goals, and progress

• Monitor and adjust care plans as needed

Qualifications:

• Valid state license to practice Occupational Therapy

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred

• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills

• Compassionate, professional, and team-oriented
