.NET Programmer Analyst

Job Summary:
Experienced .NET Programmer Analyst responsible for supporting the modernization of an enterprise tolling platform. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using .NET Core, C#, microservices, and Azure technologies within an Agile environment. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain .NET Core backend services and REST APIs.
- Support platform modernization using microservices and modular design principles.
- Collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, SQL developers, API developers, and testers.
- Implement efficient integration with SQL Server on Azure VM environments.
- Enhance existing application features and build new backend functionalities.
- Support performance optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting across application layers.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Participate in Agile sprint delivery processes.
- 7+ years of experience with .NET Core and C#.
- Strong experience building REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience integrating with SQL Server on Azure VM environments.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and development best practices.
- Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and backend integration support.
- Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
- Familiarity with domain-driven design and distributed systems.
- Experience in high-availability environments.
- Experience integrating backend systems with SSIS or Databricks.
- Understanding of tolling or transportation systems is a plus.
- Work involves supporting critical enterprise tolling platform modernization.
- Collaboration across multiple technical teams in a cloud-based environment.
- Location: Mechanicsville, VA.
