NOC Technician

Network Services TechPosition Type: StudentDivision: Finance & AdministrationDepartment: Information TechnologyEssential Duties: Provide design, installation, project coordination, and technical support for network (LAN/WAN) and telecommunications (phone, video conference, etc) services and associated hardware and software systems to support University applications and systems. Configuration and installation of network components including, but not limited to: switches, routers, telephones, wireless access points, and various other communication technologies. Troubleshooting tier 1 network issues in assistance to desktop technicians and full time staff. Creating and maintaining documentation of campus networked environment. Other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications: Should have a thorough background in PC maintenance and trouble shooting and exhibit a high level of problem solving capability.
