Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery in Utica, New York, United States. Start date: 08/10/2026. This travel assignment runs for 13 weeks in a hospital-setting labor and delivery unit. Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for obstetric patients across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum care, GYN, and newborns.
- Monitor labor, fetal status, administer medications, assist with cesarean deliveries and obstetric procedures; support postpartum recovery.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, neonatal team; educate patients and families; document care in EPIC/Stork EMR.
- Float to cover staffing needs as required; uphold patient safety, infection control, and accurate documentation.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and participate in handoffs to oncoming staff.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license with Nursys verification; ability to verify all RN licenses.
- 4–5 years of labor and delivery nursing experience; travel experience required.
- Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.
- EMR experience with EPIC and Stork; proficient documentation and charting.
- Ability to float to L&D and related units as needed; strong teamwork and communication.
- RTO (requested time off) must be included at time of submission.
- Driver’s license with address that matches demographics; up-to-date resume including travel experience.
